What makes you happy?

After seeing a sign similar to this outside Johnny Cupcakes(yum!) I gave some thought into how simple yet somehow effective this saying is. Personally, I think it is important to do what makes you happy, as long as it is legal and both physically and mentally healthy, despite what other peoples opinions and judgements may be. If you like baking, running, blogging, whatever it is, if it makes you happy, continue doing it.
However, I know it can be hard to be completely carefree of what other peoples opinions of you are, I, for one, can care far too much of what people think of me and that's not a particularly good thing. And so, not this note, I will proceed  onto sharing things that make me exceptionally happy and trying to care less of what other people think of me.

Things that make me Happy    (:

  • Simply being with my friends, whether it's lounging at someones house or out at night (because we obviously go to so many parties)
  • Early mornings at airports (and a good old pastry from pret)
  • Dancing round my room to good music
  • Traveling
  • Nicely designed hotels and houses(a bit boring, I know)
  • Organised makeup/stationary/clothes
  • Running
  • Christmas!!
  • Hot chocolate with marshmallows on winter evening, under blankets watching all the Harry Potter films
  • Dressing up for Halloween - It has now reached the point where my friends and I are far too old to go trick or treating but that won't stop us from dressing up this year
  • Good breakfast/brunch
  • Festivals and going to concerts
  • Seeing my sisters and brother
  • Secret Santa
  • When strangers are unnecessarily kind or talkative (in a non creepy way)

I would put blogging on the list because it does me make me happy when I get round to doing it but I though that would be a bit too cliché.
